Popular singer Lil Nas X responded to the criticism of his recent pregnancy-themed photo shoot on Twitter which was aimed towards promoting his debut studio album “Montero ” on Thursday.

The rapper took the internet by storm as he shared a TikTok video in which he was seen shirtless while revealing a massive baby bump. In the video he revealed while cradling his baby bump that “Baby ‘Montero’ is due September 17, 2021.”

Lil Nas X later went on to share a pregnancy photoshoot being dressed in a white satin robe with a flower crown and a baby bump. With this post he announced “I can’t believe I’m finally announcing this. My little bundle of joy Montero is due 17 September 2021.”

However, the singer’s work received mixed response from the internet users. Many fans applauded him for his creativity but some reacted negatively to the shared announcements.

The 22-year-old rapper hits back at the hateful comments through his Twitter. His tweet read, ‘I really tired of Lil Nas .. his ugly a** to much … fkn roach.” Reacting to it, the singer wrote,  “you really on here calling a young mother to be ugly?” 

Another tweet read, “nothing makes me happier than making people that hate me, hate me more. it’s my reason to breathe, my reason to exist, my first gift i open on christmas, my hug from a loved one, my cold soda on a hot summer day, everything i’ve ever wanted, and everything i’ll ever need.”
