Popular TV and film actor Sidharth Shukla passed away at the age of 40 on Thursday. He was brought dead to Cooper Hospital, a senior Cooper Hospital official told Press Trust of India.
While the initial reports state the reason for his death was a “massive heart attack” in the morning. However, Forensic department head Dr R Sukhdeve told Hindustan Times. “Won’t be able to confirm the cause of his death until we complete the post mortem.”
Reportedly the actor complained of chest pain on Wednesday night and asked his mother to visit her who lives in the same building. After having a conversation he went to sleep and suffered a heart attack.
The actor’s family informed the Mumbai Police that there was no foul play or him being under ‘mental pressure’ this was also confirmed by the police as while examination they found no injuries.
“No injuries were sustained on the body of actor Sidharth Shukla,” Mumbai Police officials said. “The cause of the death is yet to be ascertained. A team of police is present at Shukla’s residence for investigation,” Mumbai Police added.
Late television actor Sidharth Shukla was best known for his role in the long running TV show Balika Vadhu. He also participated in reality shows, including Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 6, Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 7 and also managed to win Bigg Boss 13.
