Popular singer Olivia Rodrigo and her team is receiving backlash over her recently launched SOUR album merch being below average quality and many other things wrong with the merchandise.
Rodrigo released her debut album, Sour, on May 14th, 2021 which became an instant hit debuting at Number 2 on UK top charts. To celebrate the new launch she released a merch line for the album.
However, fans were left disappointed after receiving the much-awaited merchandise. Several fans took to TikTok to complain about the low quality of the products as compared to the ones displayed on the official website.
One such complaining video which stood out was posted by TIkTok user Dani Smith who goes by @fatttbaby. The video showed the graphics on the promoted hoodie and actual hoodie were completely different.
She also pointed out that the hoodie on the website looked oversized fit, however the received product was ‘long and skinny.’
“Tiniest graphic I have ever seen??? Is that a sticker? Not the razor slices!!! Long and skinny?? Waited 2 months for this to come in the mail.”
Several other people who bought the merch were seen complaining about the alleged long shipment waits, items arriving damaged, and products being of lower quality than they expected.
