YouTuber turned professional boxer Jake Paul recently announced that he has signed a multi-fight deal with Showtime Sports. With this the network also confirmed that it is in advance talks for his next fight initially rumoured to be Tyron Woodley.
With the speculations it was revealed that Jake Paul and former UFC champ Tyron Woodley have agreed to a deal for a boxing match. Both the fighters, Paul and Woodley teased the fight on social media on Monday prior to an official announcement.
Paul and Woodley’s faceoff came just hours after his older brother Logan paul and Floyd Mayweather’s staredown at the Versace Mansion in Miami.
The whole time Woodley tried trash talking while quoting his own rap song, I’ll Beat Yo Ass in response to Paul’s trash talk. But out of blue Jake proposed a bet to Woodley which made him stop his rap song rant for a moment.
Paul proposed to Woodley to bet his boxing match purse on the line. If he wins, Jake would double his purse and if he loses, he would need to donate it to Jake’s charity.
In the comments, Tyron was seen claiming that Jake Paul does not have money for the bet and asked him to show the money. Replying to the UFC champion, Jake mentioned that his cars are worth more than the paystub of Tyron in the fight.
He also revealed that he is in contact with Tyron’s manager to make the bet official.
