Disneyland’s New Snow White Ride faces backlash for ‘non-consensual kiss’

Cancel culture is one the most toxic things the internet has given birth to and the latest victim to it is Disneyland. The biggest fantasy kids park faced severe backlash after a new ride was deemed problematic over Prince Charming kissing Snow White “without consent”.

After being shut down for over an year due to pandemic lockdown, the California park opened with a completely revamped “Snow White’s Enchanted Wish” ride on 30th April,

The new ride received mainly appreciation for its upgrades of new audio, new animation, new music, and stunning visual technology that includes laser projections and LED lights, but one part stuck out and caused major backlash.

The addition of the scene taken from the movie where Snow White is poisoned by an evil queen and falls into a comatose state. That is, until Prince Charming’s “true love’s kiss” breaks the spell, and they live happily ever after.

This became the main topic for the ‘woke brigade’ as termed by Piers Morgan to start cancelling the fictional movie scene.
