After Paul’s efforts to land a boxing match against Conor McGregor went into vain, he started looking elsewhere and later announced that he will face former UFC fighter Ben Askren in an eight-round pro boxing match on April 17.
He mentioned that the fight will take place under the Triller Fight Club banner and will serve as the main event.
Now after a long silence about the fight, Triller Fight Club shared on their Twitter handle that they will be dropping an announcement about the upcoming Jake Paul vs Ben Askren boxing match.
Fans from both sides are excited about the announcement and speculated it to be about the pre match press conference.
Some fans also claimed that on the shared blurry image by Triller is Dillon Danis. At this point of time we can just wait for the official announcement.
Ben Askren is an American retired professional mixed martial artist and amateur wrestler. Askren was the former Bellator and ONE Welterweight Champion before competing in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). He announced his retirement from the sport in 2019.
